Accused stalker Dylan Corr plead guilty Monday to 10 felony charges including stalking, identity theft and burglary, Santa Cruz County District Attorney Bob Lee announced Wednesday.

Corr, 28, continued pursuing his ex-girlfriend in June after she told him she no longer wanted to see him, according to a press release from the DA's office. He apparently followed her, recorded her conversations without permission and later broke into her workplace and installed software on her computer that allowed him to monitor her activities, according to the release.

The victim obtained a restraining order against Corr. Despite the restraining order, the defendant continued to stalk her and broke into both her attorney's office and the office of a local private investigator in order to obtain more information about the victim, the release stated.

A Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office search of Corr's home found him to be in possession of personal information of a number of people related to the victim, according to the release. Rapid Enforcement Allied Computer Team were able to assist lead detective Kevin Koyne and other investigators to obtain and analyze the computer data, which eventually resulted in the arrest and conviction of the defendant.

Corr will be sentenced in front of Judge Salazar on Jan. 26, 2007, in Superior Court. He will likely spend one year in county jail and will be remain on supervised probation for a period of 10 years.
